v1.0 is out now!
Well, that didn't take as long as I expected!
Just a few hours after my early build was uploaded, I was able to add a few finishing touches to the game and uploaded a version that I was happy to consider "v1.0". The game is now live, 10 hours before the deadline.
This was the first game jam I participated in, and I was able to "finish" my game in 3 days, 14 hours. Most game jams only offer a deadline of 2 days, so I was lucky GMTK offered a more generous deadline. I guess next time I'll try to target a completion time of 48 hours.
Please take a moment to play the game and let me know if you have any feedback. I found it to be the most fun on the higher difficulties (62kg and 65kg), as you hit the target weight pretty quickly and then have to dodge the foods for a long time.
